No, my jitters are not crack-induced thank you very much
It's been two months since I've had any caffeine and tonight I went to see the Doug Little Quartet at a coffee shop. One latte later I'm so jittery I'm finding it nearly impossible to control my hands and I can't focus my attention on anything for more than about five seconds. I'm trying to think of what I can do to burn through this caffeine buzz because I'm sure as hell not going to fall asleep any time soon. Any suggestions?

It's a little late for advice now, but I wanted to tell you that studying Constitutional Law late at night always puts me to sleep.
Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't fall asleep until 5:30am. Perhaps I'll have to borrow that book from you....
i want to stop drinking caffeine, how did you manage to go without for 2 months
I gave up caffeine cold turkey. Just stay active to keep your mind off of it and drink lots of water. It sucks at times, but I do feel really good now.
In the last 3 years, I've given it up twice for about 6 months at a time. For sleep, try melatonin and a punch to the neck.
Good tips, Jeremy, but last night I was out of control. I honestly think that if I had taken ANOTHER substance to counteract the caffeine I would have exploded. (Maybe Bo is onto something with his Spontaneous Human Combustion insurance)
I'll keep the melatonin in mind for bouts of just plain insomnia that I'm bound to get in the near future.
I'm glad you started a blog. Who are you anyway?
